چکیده
Streptomyces are the most popular among Actinomycetes groups and found in soils worldwide. They form an important part of soil ecology within Actinomycetales order. diverse as secondary antibiotic metabolites such Novobiocin, Amphotericin, Vancomycin, Neomycin, Gentamicin, Chloramphenicol, Tetracycline, Erythromycin Nystatin. Thus, current study was aimed to isolate, identify assess active produced by different actinomyces sp. Saudi Arabian soils. Six samples were collected from desert Al Thumamah area analyzed using GS-MS. Scanning Electron Microscopy used bacterial strains along with their effectiveness (antibiotics) against Gram-positive (Bacillus subtilis, Staphylococcus aureus), negative pathogens (Pseudomonas aeruginosa, Escherichia coli, Salmonella suis, Shigella sonnei) well fungal strain Candida albicans investigated. Thirty (F1-30) isolated F3, F7, F22, F30 have white, gray, pink, yellow red colours respectively. Only ten (F13, F14, F15, F16, FI7, F18, F19, F20, F21, F22) antimicrobial activity at least one pathogen. The optimum growth environment pH 4-10, temperature (300C), NaCl (7% w/v) concentration. According our findings, extreme Arabia is rich its actinobacterial population colouring various physiological biochemical properties. This shows it’s capability generating metabolite elements that could inhibit pathogenic microorganisms.

Isolation and Screening of Antibiotics Producing Streptomycetes from Western Region Soils of Saudi Arabia
Streptomycetes group was studied in twenty-three soil samples of western region. The highest density of this group was found in 3 soil samples collected from AI-Madinah Al-Munawwarah. Six Streptomyces series were observed. Gray series represented the most dominant isolates. The highest antimicrobial activity was recorded in the case of gray and red series. Streptomyces MR13 (red series) had a b...

متن کاملIsolation of biologically active Actinomycetes from untouched soils: a case study from Karaj district, Iran
Actinomycetes are a source of a broad variety of secondary metabolites with diverse biological activities, such as antifungi, antibiotics and antitumorals; many of which have been developed for clinical use. In this study, 34 actinomycetes from untouched soils were isolated from Alborz Province-Iran. Evaluation ofantifungal and anti bacterial activities of these isolates, demonstrated the capab...
متن کاملMultiple resistance to aminoglycoside antibiotics in actinomycetes.
Actinomycetes were characterized in terms of resistance to 11 different aminoglycoside antibiotics (AGs). Strains freshly isolated in AG containing media showed wide varieties of multiple AG resistance, while the majority of ISP (International Streptomyces Project) cultures and the actinomycete strains isolated in an AG free medium were susceptible to all or most of the AGs tested. Marked chara...
